WHERE & HOW WE FISH MULTI-SPECIES
Multi-Species trips typically mean we'll split the day targeting the multiple different species. Your captain will decide fishing grounds and what species to target first according to weather and tides while considering the current fishing conditions.
GET TO KNOW ROCKFISH
Common rockfish caught: Yelloweye, Copper, Quillback, Tiger, China, and Black
Due to a "closed" swim bladder, rockfish may not always be able to be released. When they're being pulled from the pressurized depths of the oceans, the stomach can inflate, and quite literally turn the stomach into a fish balloon. making it difficult for the fish to swim away after being released.
Yelloweye can live up to 121 years
Lingcods aren’t true cod, rather they are greenlings. Aggressive feeders who are only caught on the west coast on North America.
